Quick answer

Painless delivery is a normal vaginal delivery with an epidural: a thin tube in the lower back gives medicine that numbs labour pain while you stay awake and can still push. The baby is born the same way, and recovery is similar. At MiracleHealth Hospital, Uttarahalli, normal delivery costs ₹50,000 all inclusive; ask us for the epidural cost. The epidural is given by a trained anaesthesiologist after your doctor confirms it's safe for you. Call 82178 78807.

Common Questions Answered

Does an epidural harm the baby?

Very little medicine reaches the baby. Epidurals are widely used and considered safe for most mothers and babies.

Does it increase C-section risk?

Good evidence shows epidurals don't meaningfully raise the C-section rate. The second stage may last a little longer.

Who can't have one?

Some bleeding disorders, infection at the back, very low platelets or certain spine problems. Your doctor checks this beforehand.

When is it given?

Once you are in established labour; the anaesthesiologist places it while you sit or lie on your side.
