Infertility — defined as failure to conceive after 12 months of regular unprotected intercourse (6 months if the woman is above 35) — affects approximately 1 in 6 couples in India. The causes are equally divided between female factors (PCOD, tubal blockage, diminished ovarian reserve, thyroid) and male factors (poor sperm count or motility), with about 20% having both.
At Miracle Health Hospital, Uttarahalli, our expert gynaecologist performs basic infertility workup for both partners — hormonal blood tests, TVS for ovarian reserve and follicle study, and semen analysis. For couples needing IUI or IVF, we provide the complete evaluation and refer to specialist fertility centres with our report.
With our ₹1,200/year plan, multiple consultation visits for infertility evaluation are covered at no additional cost.

3 or more miscarriages — chromosomal karyotyping, antiphospholipid antibodies, uterine anatomy assessment. Causes identified and managed.
Hormonal blood tests on Day 2–3 of cycle (FSH, LH, AMH, prolactin) · Transvaginal ultrasound for uterus and ovaries · TSH · HSG for tubal patency.
Semen analysis — collected after 2–3 days abstinence. Hormone testing if sperm count is low. Scrotal ultrasound if varicocele suspected.
